We’re looking for a Communications Intern

Finnish Education Employers (Sivista) is looking for an intern with studies in an international degree program to join our work community. 

We offer you the opportunity to promote the visibility and recognition of the Finnish education sector. Join our community of experts, where you’ll get strong support from your colleagues to succeed in your job. The internship will take place in the fall of 2025 and last 3-5 months. The internship can be completed either full-time or part-time. 

 

You might be the person we are looking for if you are: 

  • interested in education, politics, or organizational communication 
  • studying communication, media, or, for example, political science or education. Studies in other fields are also considered.
     

Skills required: 

  • Experience in content production, especially videos. 
  • Social media management skills. 
  • Ability to produce texts (articles, reports) in fluent English. 

 

In this role, you will help make our field known to ever-wider audiences. Our target audiences include our members, stakeholders, political decision-makers, and the media – you will get to know the Finnish education sector extensively. Finnish language skills are not mandatory, but if you want to learn the language, an internship at Finnish Education Employers provides a good opportunity. 

Our office is located in Helsinki. It is possible for you to work part-time remotely. 

Salary: This is a paid internship. The salary will be agreed upon separately. 

Start: September 2025 or as agreed during the fall of 2025.
